The cable construction is double coaxial. Its large diameter of 8.00 mm and the whole structure makes it much easier to process, so its use may be preferred before selecting the 2803 wire.

As the only point where sound loss can occur is the RCA connectors - these must be carefully selected. The key to select connectors is to make metal parts other than the cord as small and short as possible. 2497 was available much earlier than 2803, and its larger dimensions make it easier to use and thus it is often the best choice.
